If you’re a full-time instructor, you probably find yourself driving across town just to secure enough classes to make ends meet. On top of that, you have to navigate the stress of managing multiple substitute lists, slack channels, staff meetings, and various supervisors. For managers or front-of-house staff, the reality often involves being overworked and underappreciated, spending more time on tasks like cleaning the toilet than engaging in the meaningful interactions that make this work fulfilling.
